Pasig Livelihood Foundation, Inc. (PLFI) is an organization that provides technical-vocational skills training to Pasigueños for the purpose of serving as information exchange and coordinating center to make available technical assistance for livelihood projects. Programs are aimed at equipping Pasigueños with the necessary skills and competencies that can foster self-employment and assistance to would-be entrepreneurs.

The Foundation exists as a community-based training institution with the objective of strengthening the City Government of Pasig’s programs for advancement in technical-vocational education.

The Foundation continuously believes in adopting new ideas, programs, methods and latest practice in various livelihood trainings and projects.

PLFI has exerted itself towards the fulfillment of its mission which goes beyond providing community-responsive skills training as well as serving as a channel for employment and/or entrepreneurship.

Vision
Poverty is the main cause of all forms pf impropriety in society. Our vision is to elevate the status in life of the less privileged sector in the community by providing them with the necessary tools and skills to improve themselves. Helping the poor to increase their economic capabilities will inevitably lead to societal betterment in Pasig City.

Mission
To adopt new ideas, programs, methods and the latest trends on livelihood projects adaptable in the community.

To initiate, pursue and promote an effective partnership with the Local Government Unit, NGO's civic and business groups in the implementations of viable income generating endeavors for the needy.

To further develop and expand the present livelihood facilities, equipments and human resources to cope with the needs of its beneficiaries

 PLFI’s Loan Assistance Program
- this aims to provide PLFI graduates with the necessary equipment and technical support to jumpstart their way towards entrepreneurship. Through the program, graduates from the foundation who have attended a seminar on entrepreneurship and have passed the interview conducted by the foundation’s credit committee may avail of loans ranging from P1, 000 to P20, 000 which is payable within six months to two years.

 Livelihood on Wheels Project
- provides assistance to PLFI graduates and non-graduates to those who want to start their own small food cart business.

 On - Wheels Barangay Training
- aiming to replicate the foundation’s success at the barangay level, PLFI provides On-Wheels barangay training wherein a barangay may request for a Trainer from the foundation to come to the barangay to teach each resident various livelihood skills/programs to enable them to gain skills for entrepreneurship.

 Kabuhayan Livelihood Project
- another key project of PLFI is the Kabuhayan Livelihood Project. PLFI provides the beneficiary barangay’s with training in sewing school uniforms as well as the necessary equipment and materials. When the Barangay Kabuhayan Centers has become self-sufficient and income-generating, it then pays for the equipment and materials provided by PLFI on an installment basis. Remaining funds generated from the sewing projects are then remitted to the concerned barangay for use on its own livelihood projects.
